My main railway interest is the GWR in Edwardian times. I tend to focus on the Berkshire / Wiltshire area, as evident in my latest layout project. The pre-grouping Welsh scene also fascinates me, especially the Taff Vale Railway and the Barry Railway. Apart from that, I have a mild interest in steam railways in the tropics, as reflected in the photos below.

In my other life I work in development aid, and have long-term interests in photography, wildlife and good books.
