7mm models by Steve Fay

As a sort of postscript to the Cardiff Canton story, here is a final pic of Steve Fay's 70019 Lightning, reflecting its last working days. It takes a lot of bravery and expertise to weather a once-pristine loco this much. The weathering was done by Fred Lewis.

These are the last two pictures of Steve Fay's Cardiff Canton diorama, which is now with its new owner.

70019 Lightning has now been expertly weathered by Fred Lewis.

A double-chimneyed Castle, and couple of hydraulics, a Western in desert-sand livery and a Hymek, pose on Steve's photographic plank. The hydraulics are Heljan with detail parts from JLTRT and Pete Harvey.

Steve Fay's small shed layout in O gauge is a shed diorama based on Cardiff Canton. His next project will be Ranelagh Bridge in O gauge as well, and build details can be followed on his RMweb thread.
