Nigel writes: The model was scratch-built using the plans and photos for Much Wenlock from Chris Leigh's "GWR-country stations". It was only after building it that I visited Much Wenlock and saw to my dismay that the brick colour and the roof were all wrong on my model, so it's "based on", not a "model of" Much Wenlock. A very nice lady who lives in part of the building allowed me to photograph it and go into her garden to look at the changes.

The model is built from Wills materials, except the roof which is modelled from DAS for a more realistic effect.
