GWR Showcase: Chris Klein's 7mm Models

Chris built up a collection of 7mm scale models with the aim of building a South Wales colliery line. The following pictures show some of these models, which have featured in the Railway Modeller. Chris' Cwm Bach layout can be found on his RMweb thread. Sadly, Chris passed away suddenly in August 2020.

The GWR 57xx 0-6-0PT is the Bachmann-Tower O Gauge model, detailed and weathered as number 7756.

Awaiting weathering, this Taff Vale Class A was built from the Taff Vale and Dragon Models O Gauge kit and has a compensated chassis.

Here is the station building for Cwm Bach, based on the GWR station that stood at Abergwynfi in South Wales
