|Apart from the motor/gearbox, the saddle tank loco is entirely scratch built, including the wheels.
Although Michael has modelled the GWR in various scales, this River class loco was his first attempt in Gauge 1. Everything in the picture is entirely scratch built, the loco having fully working inside motion, and being for 12V DC operation. The loco is hauling a V2 4-wheel passenger brake van.
