7mm locos by Peter Roles
This page shows a selection of the rather excellent locos built by Peter Roles.
GWR 4-4-0 No. 7 'Armstrong' – This loco is scratch built. Constructed in nickel silver, the only parts not made 'in house' are the GWR loco couplings which came from CPL. It is compensated, has full inside motion, runs on AGH wheels and is powered by a Canon motor driving through an ABC gearbox. The name and number plates were commissioned from Carl Legg.
GWR 2-4-0 River Class No. 73 'Isis' – This loco was based on a kit which was much modified during construction. It is compensated, has full inside motion, runs on Slater's wheels and is powered by a Mashima 1824 motor driving through an ABC gearbox. The name and number plates were commissioned from Carl Legg.
