A fairly unusual 'O' Gauge model of a GWR Simplex shunter as used at Didcot provender store, courtesy of John Bruce.

Built from an Impetus kit the model has a fully detailed cab interior including driver, 108:1 gearbox, Mashima can motor, flywheel, Delrin chain drive to both axles, pickup from all wheels (to finescale standards), rocking axle compensation, correct pattern sprung bufffers, 3 link couplings and glazing. According to John the loco runs really well & will probably haul more than the prototype ever would!
