7mm Broad Gauge Iron Duke

Having failed to persuade Martin Finney to do a kit of an early wooden-lagged boiler example of the Rover class (Martin produced a fabulous 7mm ScaleSeven kit of one of the later versions of the Rover class), Richard set about making his own. The build material is mainly brass with wooden stripping glued to a brass core for the boiler and firebox with 'proper prototype' sandwiched metal and wood construction for the main frames. A Mashima can motor just goes in vertically with under 1mm clearance!
