GWR Modelling does not use or issue cookies, nor are any third-party cookies set except as follows:
For pages where Youtube videos are embedded, these videos will work even if you have blocked third-party cookies. If you have not blocked third party cookies, visiting any of those pages and playing a video allows Youtube to set the following Youtube cookies:
- VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE; this persistent cookie has a duration of 7 months, and seems to determine which version of the Youtube homepage you get if you visit it;
- use_hitbox; this session-only cookie seems to allows the counter for the video to increment on the Youtube site;
- GEO; this session-only cookie appears to allow the video to be viewed regardless of the geolocation of the user.
If you have not blocked third-party cookies, and you do not wish to receive Youtube's cookies, I do not yet know of a method of changing these pages to prevent you watching the videos, because this will depend on the setting of your browser.
