Removing a topfeed from Bachmann panniers
by Paul Marshall-Potter
These are relatively easy to do. The best way is to remove all the hardware on the body first – tank vents, fillers, handrails etc. This gives you far more access to work on the body.
I remove the top feed with side cutters and piping is cut off using a standard Swann Morton handle with a new No.6 blade. The new blade allows the detail cutting/slicing to be far easier. Tidying is done with fine grades of emery papers and then a Halfords grey primer undercoat.
The same technique works on the 64xx too. |
